    Description

The Office Wife (Warner Brothers, 1930). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Though Dorothy Mackaill and Lewis Stone may have top billing on the poster, it's Joan Blondell who really steals the spotlight as she debuts in her very first feature role. Already a film that wouldn't see the inside of a theatre just four years later, the enthusiastic Blondell's saucy one liners and several states of undress make this a very pre-Code comedy. The first of any paper Heritage has ever sold for this racy film, the stone litho poster has had professional restoration to address a small center crossfold chip, a mild tear at the right side of the center horizontal fold, and a couple of chips in the left border. Touchup has been applied to the folds. The linen has been trimmed to the borders and there is an unaddressed chip in the lower left corner. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
