    Description

    The Mummy's Hand (Universal, 1940). Three Sheet (42" X 80.5").
In the chilling first sequel to the 1932 Boris Karloff classic, treasure seeking archaeologists Steve Banning (Dick Foran) and Babe Jensen (Wallace Ford) search for the tomb of the Princess Ananka, inciting the wrath of sacred guardian Kharis (Tom Tyler, of cowboy movie fame). With similar graphics to the insert format, this extremely rare three sheet is even more stunning. This is the first time Heritage has presented this poster, and it was worth the wait. It's difficult to find one sheets from this film, let alone even larger formats. The poster shows beautiful color and has been mounted on linen. Touchup has been applied to chips in the borders, crossfolds, and along the folds, tears in the background and extending from the folds. There are some areas along the folds that have not been touched up, and the linen has been trimmed to the border. Overall, the three sheet displays well. An incredible opportunity for collectors of Universal horror film posters! Fine+ on Linen.
