DescriptionThe Mummy's Ghost (Universal, 1944). Very Fine-. Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14").
Lon Chaney Jr. takes on the role of Kharis the Mummy for the second time in this, the third sequel to the Boris Karloff original of 1932. This time, Kharis is resurrected by Yousef Bey (John Carradine), an Egyptian high priest, seeking to salvage the soul of the Princess Ananka with predictably horrific results. A decaying, mummified Chaney is featured on one of these great cards, with Ramsay Ames and Robert Lowery appearing on the other. Both of the cards have slight edge wear, pinholes, small surface indentations, and light creases. The Kharis card also has unobtrusive smudges, a minor tear at the top, and soft surface scuffs, as well as light touchup to some of the pinholes in the interior. Very Fine-.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
