    Description

The Mole People (Universal International, 1956). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41"). Reynold Brown Artwork.
Any 1950s creature-feature buff won't want to miss this truly classic poster, considered one of the best in the genre and boasting incredible artwork by Reynold Brown. During an archaeological expedition, Dr. Roger Bentley (John Agar) and Dr. Jud Bellamin (Hugh Beaumont) discover an ancient race of Sumerians living deep below ground, tended by the deformed Mole People, who are kept as slaves under the control of the High Priest Elinu (Alan Napier, Alfred from TV's Batman). This fan favorite poster has mild edge wear, slight fold wear and separation, creasing, scattered pinholes, and small tears. Other signs of handling include a few faint stains, a couple of surface scuffs, and minor chips in the borders. There are pieces of cellophane and paper tape on the verso, some of which show through a couple of small chips and torn pinholes. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
