DescriptionThe Model from Montmartre (Paramount, 1928). Very Good- on Linen. Three Sheet (41" X 80.5") Original French Title: La Femme Nue.
Nita Naldi was one of the truly great actresses from the silent era, she earlier starred opposite John Barrymore in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1920), and with Rudolph Valentino in Blood and Sand (1922). She made one of her last films in France for Leonce Perret, originally titled La Femme Nue. Professionally restored, this three sheet no longer shows fold wear and separations, pinholes, small chips, and tears. The lower panel had paper loss extending through the Morgan Litho logo, underneath the model's feet, and above the Paramount logo. This paper loss has been expertly restored.
Estimate: $700 - $1,400.
