DescriptionThe Man with the Golden Arm (United Artists, 1955). World Premier Program (8 Pages, 11" X 8.5").
Saul Bass' iconic design is looks wonderfully stark on this exceptionally hard to find program, the crisp edges of the back and white print giving the piece an impact not quite felt in its colored version. Only distributed to those invited to the picture's world premier in New York, this program comes printed in a mix of gossamer thin and paper vellum pages, a classy look worthy of Otto Preminger and Frank Sinatra's crime drama. A first time offer from Heritage that has never before appeared at auction, this beautiful program should be high on the list of any Saul Bass collector, a chance not to be missed! It has slight edge wear with minor tears and small nicks. There is some unobtrusive smudging, toning at the edges, and spine wear with spine separation. Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
