The Love Nest (Associated First National Pictures, 1924). Swedish One Sheet (24.25" X 35.5").
This nautical comedy features the Great Stone Face as a lovelorn, would-be sailor that wreaks havoc upon a whaling vessel, a slightly surreal plot with gags a-plenty. More importantly, this role marked a turning point in Buster Keaton's career, as it was his last short before venturing into the world of full-length feature films. It was also among the last of his pictures where he had full creative control over the endeavor as the actor, writer, and director. A first-time offering at Heritage, this rare Swedish one sheet boasts a great picture of the funnyman doing what he does best in stone litho printing. It shows edge wear, some creasing, and small tears. Folded, Very Fine-.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
