    Description

The Jungle Book Original Artwork by Al White (Buena Vista, 1967). Very Fine. Original Mixed Media Poster Artwork on Illustration Board (20.75" X 20") used on the Six Sheet.
Found on the film's first release six sheet, this charming illustration by Al White features the Disney interpretation of some of Rudyard Kipling's most beloved characters. White worked as a poster artist and book illustrator for Disney for several years, and also contributed to Penguin Random House's Little Golden Book series as a background artist. This colorful piece of ink and gouache artwork shows only minor signs of handling, such as slight edge wear, small corner bumps, and very faint smudges. There are tape stains and a paper lift at the top, most likely from the production process. Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
