DescriptionThe Invisible Man (Universal, 1933). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. Herald (Closed: 7" X 9.5", Open: 14" X 9.5").
H. G. Wells' classic story of a scientist who becomes invisible and slowly succumbs to madness became one of the greatest films of its time and made a star out of the almost invisible actor Claude Rains. Rains doesn't actually appear in the film until the final moments as he lies dying in the snow. This rare herald has light edge and fold wear, a moderate fold separation, soft creases, small tears, and a minute chip. The back cover shows a bit of penciled writing in the top left corner as well as a few stains. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
