DescriptionThe Invisible Man Returns (Universal, 1940). Window Card (14" X 22").
Blessed with the presence of the great Vincent Price in his first horror role, this sequel to The Invisible Man picks up where the 1933 story left off. When Geoffrey Radcliffe (Price) is jailed for a murder he did not commit, he convinces Dr. Frank Griffin (John Sutton), brother of the original Invisible Man, to inject him with the invisibility serum, even though Radcliffe is warned that the concoction will likely drive him insane. Escaping from prison, Radcliffe tracks down the real murderer (Sir Cedric Hardwicke), hoping to bring the fiend to justice before he entirely loses control. Last offered over a decade ago, this window card The card shows only mild signs of use like light edge wear, slight creases, and corner bends. There is a small tear in the bottom border, and the card also displays unobtrusive smudging. Very Fine-.
Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
