    Description

The Incredible Shrinking Man (Universal International, 1957). Fine+ on Linen. Three Sheet (41.5" X 78.25") Reynold Brown Artwork.
Jack Arnold, the man who brought us Creature From the Black Lagoon and Tarantula, directed this film about a man who is exposed to a strange mist and begins to rapidly shrink. Richard Matheson's tight script, along with the great special effects and tremendous oversized props make this a unique, well-paced, sci-fi thriller. Offered here is the prized three sheet, which depicts our hero doing battle with the house cat. This format and the insert are considered the best posters from this film. The poster has been backed on linen, but has not received any further restoration. It shows slight edge wear, small creases, pinholes, and some unobtrusive stains and smudges. There is some slight color fading.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
