    Description

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (New Line, 2012). Near Mint. Lenticular One Sheet (27" X 40") Gollum Style.
After director Peter Jackson's great success with the Lord of the Rings trilogy, who better suited to undertake J.R.R. Tolkien's classic prequel, The Hobbit? Martin Freeman stars as the young Bilbo Baggins, with Ian McKellen reprising his role as Gandalf the Grey and Cate Blanchett as the Elven Queen Galadriel. Both are pictured in two other great lenticular sheets offered in this auction. This magnificent poster features an eerie image of the treacherous and pitiable Gollum, as voiced and motion-captured by the talented Andy Serkis. In near-immaculate condition, this stunning lenticular one sheet only shows a very thin surface scuff in the bottom left corner. There are some blue elements in the printing that may be intentional, or may be small specks caused during the printing process. Please note that these specks do nothing to detract from the image's spectacular effect. This is an incredibly rare lenticular poster, very few of which were ever produced. Near Mint.
