Description

The Great Ziegfeld (MGM, 1936). Insert (14" X 36").
In this fictionalized epic, William Powell takes on the role of Florenz Ziegfeld, a smooth-talking impresario who convinces a European stage actress (Luise Rainer) to appear in his new show. Rainer would take home the first of two Oscars for her performance, and the film would earn the award for Best Picture of the year. This glamorous insert shows minor edge wear, staining along the middle fold, wear in the upper right corner, and a small tear in the upper left corner. Folded, Very Fine.
