Description

    The Great K & A Train Robbery (Fox, 1926). Half Sheet (22" X 28").
Tom Mix was the top cowboy movie star throughout the 1920s and into the early years of the 1930s. In this movie, which was filmed on locations at Colorado's Royal Gorge, he portrays a detective who's investigating train robberies. John Wayne worked as a prop boy and as an uncredited extra during the making of this film as legend has it. This is a Heritage first and a lovely tinted poster which shows signs of vertical crimping from being rolled too tightly. There are pinholes in the corners and at the middle of the borders as well as a few within the image. There is also a small chip from the lower right corner. This is a great image of the cowboy star and his steed, Tony. Rolled, Fine.
