    Description

    The Ghost Breakers (Paramount, 1940). Lobby Cards (7) (11" X 14").
After their huge success with the spooky comedy The Cat and the Canary, Bob Hope and Paulette Goddard followed up with this equally fun "haunted mansion" mystery. These seven lobby cards feature great images of the pair in bright, saturated colors. Several cards have slight edge wear, pinholes in the borders and interior, creases and corner bumps, mild surface scuffs, and unobtrusive smudges. One card has a tear from the bottom border into Paulette Goddard's hand, which has been repaired with archival tape on the verso. There is a card with touchup to a small reattached chip in the upper left corner and a few pinholes, and the card also has a piece of paper tape on the verso. Very Fine-.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
