The Fountainhead (Warner Brothers, 1950). Folded, Very Fine-. Full-Bleed French Grande (45" X 61") Pierre Pigeot Artwork.
Novelist Ayn Rand adapted her own landmark objectivist novel for this King Vidor directed film. Although some have criticized the film for not presenting the novel's powerful themes effectively, strong performances by Gary Cooper and Patricia Neal still captivated audiences around the world. Not offered in over a decade, this large format French poster boasts bold artwork by Pierre Pigeot of Cooper and Neal. It has light edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, soft creases, and minor tears. There is a small chip in the bottom edge, some spotted stains in the folds, and a bit of bleedthrough from writing and an ink stamp on the verso. The poster also shows creasing in the upper background, most likely from the printing process. Folded, Very Fine-.

    Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
