    Description

The Endless Summer (Cinema 5, 1966). Silk-Screen One Sheet (27" X 41.5") Day-Glo Style John Van Hamersveld Artwork.
Just one look at this iconic Van Hamersveld image will spark the wanderlust first evoked in 1966 by Bruce Brown's legendary documentary, which follows the experiences of surfers Mike Hynson and Robert August. Brown chronicles their globe-trotting expedition in search of the perfect wave and some of the colorful characters they meet along the way. The film features plenty of amazing scenery, memorable experiences, and some of the best surfing footage ever filmed. Touchup to this eye-catching poster has been applied to the folds, a few small tears, and bleedthrough from writing in the verso. The borders and background have been airbrushed. Very Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
