The Empire Strikes Back (Lucasfilm 1980) Rolled, Fine/Very Fine. Coca-Cola Promo Poster (27" X 41") Boris Vallejo Artwork. Science Fiction.To coincide with the release of The Empire Strikes Back, Coca-Cola teamed with 20th Century Fox and commissioned fantasy artist Boris Vallejo to create premium posters that were to be given to customers who purchased Coca-Cola products. Four works were printed, three of which were offered at fast food chains, and one at theaters. This lot features an advertising poster that would have been used in theaters, and showcases what is arguably the best of Vallejo's work for the promotion. Starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, David Prowse, Frank Oz, Alec Guinness, and James Earl Jones. Directed by Irvin Kershner. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. May include slight edge wear, light creases, small surface scuffs, mild rippling, a minute chip, minor tears, or faint staining.
