    Description

    The Eclipse (Cineriz, 1962). Italian 4 - Fogli (55" X 78").
Set in Rome, this French-Italian production was directed by Michelangelo Antonioni as the final part of the unofficial "Incommunicability Trilogy" that also included L'Avventura and La Notte. L'Eclisse is a moody drama about a young woman (Monica Vitti) who meets a handsome young man (Alain Delon), but trouble arises because of his materialistic nature. This poster shows some fold wear with small crossfold separations, edge tears at the folds, slight smudging in the borders and in the image, and mild toning in the folds. The joint has some small bits of paper loss that are not visible when the sections are joined, and the bottom left corner has a section of paper loss with a masking tape splice. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
