    The Devil Doll (MGM, 1936). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style D.
One of the celebrated classics of the Golden Age of Horror, The Devil Doll came from the mind of the great Tod Browning, who'd made his name during the silent era with such films as The Unholy Three and London After Midnight. Of course, he's best known for his work after making the move into talkies with Dracula, Freaks, and Mark of the Vampire (1935). This was Browning's second-to-last film. a piece liberally adapted from Merritt's witchcraft novel Burn, Witch, Burn, with stars Lionel Barrymore and Maureen O'Sullivan taking on the lead roles. Heritage has only had the opportunity to offer this rare stone litho beauty twice before, both over a decade ago. Its in fantastic condition, with its only flaws being light edge and fold wear, pinholes crossfold separations, and faint creases. Folded, Very Fine+.

    Estimate: $2,500 - $5,000.
