    Description

The Dawn Rider (Monogram, 1935). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. Three Sheet (41.5" X 79").
A gorgeous stone litho three sheet from this early John Wayne Western. A young Wayne is out to find his father's murderer in this Lone Star production, an entry in a series of low-budget films for Monogram Studios starring the Duke. Stuntman Yakima Canutt provides heart stopping thrills, as well as his acting talents as the villain, while Marion Burns plays Wayne's nurse and love interest. Presented for the first time by Heritage, this stone litho three sheet has received professional restoration to address some fold wear and separation, small tears and chips, creases, as well as some scratches in the title. The top right of the red background and the borders have had airbrush work. A beautiful display piece and very rare!

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
