DescriptionThe Cattle Thief (Columbia, 1936). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Disguised as a dotty old peddler, cowboy star Ken Maynard investigates the suspicious goings-on at James A. Marcus' cattle ranch, only to find the place under the control of corrupt foreman Ward Bond. He takes to foiling Bond's plans at night as the Masked Rider, riding on his trusty horse Tarzan and winning the affections of nurse Geneva Mitchell. Professional touchup has been applied to the folds, pinholes, bits of surface paper loss in the borders, and a few minor tears. There were a couple of chips to the lower right of the center crossfold, and there was a vertical tear in the "A" of "Maynard." There is some very minor post-restoration wear at the top edge. Very Fine- on Linen.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
