    Description

    The Campus Flirt (Paramount, 1926). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A.
A classic Jazz Age college comedy, this is a wonderful vehicle for star Bebe Daniels, who first came to audiences' attention as one of Harold Lloyd's most important leading ladies. Daniels appeared in such well-received films as Rio Rita, The Maltese Falcon (the first adaptation of the popular book), and 42nd Street. The movie also marks the film debut of former vaudeville performer El Brendel. This beautiful stone litho one sheet has touchup to the folds, a small hole in the bottom border, and two small chips at the bottom left corner and lower vertical fold. Still visible are pinholes in the upper border, one pinhole in the image background, small stains in the right upper horizontal fold, a tear in the bottom border, and a post-restoration horizontal crease towards the bottom. There is minor separation of the poster from the masa paper in the upper left corner and some erratic trimming of the linen slightly into the paper to the left and right borders, but the poster still presents nicely. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
