The Bride of Frankenstein (Universal, 1970s-1980s). Very Fine. 35MM Safety Acetate Release Film.
For fans of one of the greatest Universal Horror films ever made, this is your chance to own the actual film The Bride of Frankenstein. This is a 35MM release print pulled from an original nitrate internegative sometime in the 1970s-1980s and was received from an Australian collector who allowed it to be projected once as part of a Universal Horror series. All four reels are intact with no vinegar smell at all and absolutely glow in glorious black and white. There is some minor edge wear footage near the end of reel 4, which doesn't affect the image area and the film is 100% complete. Boris Karloff, Colin Clive, Valerie Hudson, Ernest Thesiger and the Bride herself, Elsa Lanchester shine in this stunning print. Prints in 35MM and certainly those from the film's original negative are very hard to find.

    Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
