    Description

The Blue Dahlia (Paramount, 1946). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Raymond Chandler wrote the screen play for this film noir murder mystery that reunited Alan Ladd and Veronica Lake, and was nominated for an Oscar. Alan Ladd stars as a callous, no-nonsense pilot who comes home to find his wife in the arms of another man. The two have a terrible fight, and later she's found dead. Ladd enlists the aid of sultry Veronica Lake to help him prove his innocence and clear his name. Prior to restoration, the poster had fold wear and small chips in the crossfolds and the borders had been trimmed just slightly. The poster has been professionally and beautifully restored, leaving it with an excellent appearance. Fine on Linen.
