    Description

The Big Store (MGM, 1941). Very Fine-. Window Card (14" X 22") Al Hirschfeld Artwork.
The Big Store, the last of The Marx Brothers films for MGM, teams Groucho (as Wolf J. Flywheel), Chico (as Ravelli), and Harpo (as Wacky) with Margaret Dumont (her last appearance in a Marx picture) in a typically zany Marx Brothers laugh-fest. Billed as the last of their movies as they announced they were retiring from the business, the Brothers would not reunite on screen until half a decade later in United Artists' A Night in Casablanca. The incomparable Al Hirschfeld art truly captures the madcap spirit of the famous trio. The poster has pinholes into the interior, light smudging, and minor edge wear.

    Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
