DescriptionThe Big Sleep (Warner Bros., 1946). Fine+. Window Card (14" X 22").
Heritage is proud to present this window card form Howard Hawks' film noir adaptation of Raymond Chandler's novel, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Bogart is Philip Marlowe, a private detective who, along with Bacall's Vivian Rutledge, finds himself caught in a web of lies, murder, lust, greed, and blackmail. Professional restoration has been applied to address staple holes, minor tears, mild creases, and four small chips in each corner. Also corrected was a hole in the imprint area and the card's borders and white background have been airbrushed. There is some light post-restoration edge wear, however this does not affect the interior of the card in any way.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
