DescriptionThe Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (Warner Brothers, 1953). One Sheet (27" X 41").
The late Ray Harryhausen's first solo foray into stop motion animation, this epic, features a giant Rhedosaurus awakened by (what else?) a nuclear test and proceeds to lay waste to the Big Apple. This was the film that truly launched Harryhausen's career as he would bring dozens of animated monsters to the screen for the public's enjoyment. The posters from the film are equally impressive, including this fan favorite one sheet. Touchup to the folds, pinholes in the borders and interior, a couple of small chips in the right border, and a few small tears in the borders. Very Fine- on Linen.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
