The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse (Warner Brothers, 1938). Title Lobby Card and Lobby Card (11" X 14"). John Huston co-wrote the screenplay for this Warner's program starring Edward G. Robinson as the title character, a psychiatrist researching the criminal mind. He teams up with a jewel thief (Humphrey Bogart) and his female fence (Claire Trevor). These beautiful cards are printed on the Warner Brother's linen stock paper, which has a tendency to brown. Offered in this lot is the title card, which is in good condition with paper reinforcements glued to the back of all four corners as well as a couple of small spots reinforced in the borders. It has a small chip below Robinson's left nostril and a brown stain in he artwork. This card would grade Good/Very Good. The other card is undoubtedly the best card in the set. This great card features Robinson, Bogart and Maxie Rosenbloom. The card is in great shape with a pinhole in each corner. It has slight wear on all four corners as well as a "26" written in the upper left corner. The linen stock paper has tanned, but the card is in very fine shape. It grades Very Fine+.
