DescriptionThe Adventures of Tarzan (Numa, 1921). Fine- on Cardstock. Window Card (14" X 22").
Elmo Lincoln, the original Tarzan from the 1918 film, Tarzan of the Apes, was back in this fifteen episode adventure serial. Lincoln communes with the jungle animals and tussles with a couple of dastardly bipeds on this head-turning stone litho window card. Conserved with great skill, repairs have been made to edge wear, moderate tears, as well as small chips and surface lifts within the interior. There was also some chipping along the edges, especially towards the upper left. The card had a trim into the bottom inset image and lower text, which has been replaced. The borders, white background, and imprint area have been airbrushed. Fine- on Cardstock.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
