    Description

That Hamilton Woman (United Artists, 1941). One Sheet (27" X 41").
"You cannot make peace with dictators. You have to destroy them, wipe them out!" Intended as a propaganda piece to bring the U.S. into World War II (with some dialogue actually written by Winston Churchill), this tale of Lord Nelson (Laurence Olivier) and his mistress, Lady Hamilton (Vivien Leigh), served as a sizzling romance. It was the only film the two stars made together while they were married, and was a favorite of both Churchill and Joseph Stalin. There are very few flaws to be found in this poster, which displays light edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, small creases, and pinholes in the upper corners. Folded, Very Fine+.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
