    Description

    Suspicion (RKO, 1941). Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (27.5" X 41").
Joan Fontaine's Oscar winning turn in one of director Alfred Hitchcock's best works is echoed here in the moody, moonlit artwork of this one sheet. Under Hitchcock's firm, but subtle hand, Cary Grant also gives one of the best performances of his career. Professionally restored, this poster once showed fold wear and separation, creases, pinholes, and small tears and chips. The left border was once trimmed, but did not extend into the printing, and has since been replaced. The poster's borders have been airbrushed and the poster's linen has a slight warp on the left side.

    Estimate: $6,000 - $12,000.
