DescriptionSudden Bill Dorn (Universal, 1937). One Sheet (27" X 41").
It's action and excitement aplenty when a prospector strikes gold in this thrill-packed Western, starring popular cowboy Buck Jones. One of the biggest Western stars of the era, Jones's riding and shooting skills were the real deal, honed on the ranch where he grew up near Red Rock, Oklahoma. This colorful one sheet hasn't been up for auction in well over ten years, a rare chance for cowboy collectors. Even better, it's considered to be one of the best Buck Jones posters ever produced, its image a veritable swirl of illustrated action with an incredible portrait of the star. Signs of handling in the poster include light edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, soft creases, and pinholes into the interior. There are some minor nicks and tears at the edges and a few unobtrusive smudges. Folded, Very Fine.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
