    Description

    Stromboli (RKO, 1950). Very Fine+ on Linen. Italian 4 - Fogli (55.5" X 78") Ercole Brini Artwork.
This gorgeous, first time offer from Heritage is the country-of-origin 4 -fogli format from Stromboli, featuring dramatic artwork by Ercole Brini. Directed by Roberto Rossellini, the Italian neorealism film stars Ingrid Bergman as a Lithuanian woman who escapes an interment camp in Italy by marrying an Italian POW (Mario Vitale) and relocating to the desolate island of Stromboli. Backed with no touchup applied, this poster has light edge and fold wear, and the lower panel has some faint toning at the edges. An excellent find for Bergman and neorealism fans!

    Estimate: $4,000 - $8,000.
