Strangler of the Swamp (PRC, 1946). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Director Frank Wisbar directs this American remake of his own 1936 German fillm, Fährmann Maria, using a plot more in line with the horror films of the 1940s. Rosemary La Planche takes the lead role, with future director Blake Edwards acting as her lover-in-peril and Charles Middleton (otherwise known as Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon) plays the ghostly Strangler. Signs of handling include slight edge and fold wear, significant fold separations, and soft creases. There are very minor chips, small tears, and mild ink stamp bleedthrough. Some of the fold separations are braced with archival tape on the verso.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
