    Description

    Strangers on a Train (Warner Brothers, 1951). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Alfred Hitchcock creates one of his most suspenseful plots with this classic thriller. Guy Haines (Farley Granger) is unhappy with his wife and tells a stranger, Bruno (Robert Walker) so while commuting on a train. When Bruno asks him if he would murder Bruno's father in exchange for Bruno murdering Guy's wife, Guy, believing it to be a hypothetical question, agrees he would. The only problem is, Bruno is a disturbed young man and follows through on his half of the plan. The ensuing murder and blackmail threatens Haines' tennis career and future with Anne Morton, a Senator's daughter. This poster sports a brilliant concept as the two individual train tracks are on a collision course. Professional restoration and airbrushing has addressed pinholes in the borders, a tear in the top border, chips in the borders, and touch-up has been applied to fold wear. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
