Description

Star Wars Concert Lot (20th Century Fox, 1977-1988). Signed Page (9" X 12"), Program (8.5" X 14"), & Poster (9" X 23"). From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector.
Composer John Williams' massive contribution to music in cinema is undeniable. He has created timeless themes to films such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Superman, and many more. None are more recognized than his work for George Lucas' Star Wars. Within this lot is an autographed page from the book The Art of Star Wars featuring the Star Wars concert poster by John Alvin. The page is signed "John Williams." Additionally, there is a double sided program from the November 20, 1977 Star Wars concert by The Los Angeles Philharmonic, a production that included music from Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey, and even featured readings from H.G. Wells War of the Worlds by William Shatner. There is also a poster from the 1988 Marin County Fair featuring fun for the whole family, including an exhibit called "The Magic of Lucasfilm," music, and rides. All three items show light handling wear. The program has a horizontal fold. Very Fine+. From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector.
