DescriptionStar Wars (20th Century Fox, 1976). Rolled, Fine/Very Fine. Silk Screen Banner (104" X 25").
Among the most sought after items for Star Wars collectors, this nylon banner with yellow fringe from the National Screen Service, contains the early illustration images of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, X-Wings, and the centered pyramid Star Wars logo. The silk screened banner is rare because theater owners at the time opted not to spend the extra money on this promotional theatrical item. Printed on nylon with gold fringe along the bottom and grommets across the top, the banner is in highly presentable condition, with small spots of staining on the edges, two larger, but faint stains in the interior, and staple holes on the left and right sides.
Estimate: $4,000 - $8,000.
