Star Trek: The Next Generation/Deep Space Nine/Generations by Dan Curry (Paramount, Late 1980s - Late 1990s). Very Fine. Signed Original Graphite Concept Artworks (9) (12" X 9" - 17" X 11"). From the collection of Dan Curry, long-running visual effects specialist for the Star Trek franchise.
As a special and visual effects artists that worked on several Star Trek shows and movies, Dan Curry created numerous concept designs for the franchise. With vehicles playing a heavy role in a space-exploration series, Curry made a slew of starship concepts, a few of which are on display in this lot. Included are four designs for alien and generational ships suggested during the planning phase of the movie Star Trek: Generations, a 1994 prototype drawing for a Dominion Jem'Hadar fighter from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, an interesting proposed look for a Star Trek: The Next Generation Borg ship form 1993, a sleek concept for a DS9 alien vessel made in 1995, and a couple of sketched schematics for Star Fleet worker pods created for TNG in 1991. The drawings in general show some edge wear, creases, unobtrusive stains and smudges, a couple of minor chips, and small tears. The early drawing for the Dominon Jem'Hadar ship has a chip in the top left corner that does not affect the image or writing.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
