DescriptionStagecoach (United Artists, 1939). Very Fine- on Paper. Insert (14" X 36").
Heritage has the pleasure of presenting this insert for the first time. Considered by many film historians to be one of the best Westerns ever made, director John Ford reached a new height in his craft with this taut film. The story of a stage journey across dangerous Indian territory with nine people in tow, the acting chops of the cast is at its greatest. And most spectacularly, John Wayne makes his first A-film in almost a decade in the role of the Ringo Kid. Professional restoration has been applied to correct slight fold wear and separation, creases, staple holes, as well as small chips and tears at the edges. Still visible is some light toning. The borders have been airbrushed.
Estimate: $10,000 - $20,000.
