    Description

    Play Ball with Babe Ruth (Universal, 1932). Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
    Created as a stock title card for five Christy Walsh All America Sports Reel shorts Babe Ruth made in 1931-32, of which the titles are Slide Babe Slide, Just Pals, Perfect Control, Fancy Curves, and Over the Fence, this incredibly rare card represents a very small amount of paper known to exist from the title. Offered for only the second time by Heritage, this very hard to find title card had tears, a small hole in Ruth's portrait shot on the right side, missing top left and right corners, and a few bends, including one across the card. Outstanding restoration has returned this rarity to its original glory. Good on Paper.
