    19th International Peace Race & Other Lot (1966). Polish Poster (26.25" X 38.75") & Spanish Poster (21.25" X 41.5"). Sports.
Held annually from 1948 to 2006 in the Soviet Eastern Bloc, the Peace Race was the world's largest amateur cycling tournament with competing teams from across Europe, earning itself the nickname "The Tour de France of the East.". Also included is an unbacked 1971 Spanish poster announcing the traditional bullfighting events to be held during the historic celebration of Saint Isadore in Madrid. A partially restored poster and unrestored poster with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as slight edge and fold wear, mild creases, unobtrusive smudges, or minor tears. The Spanish poster shows some faint toning in the upper border and the Polish poster shows small paper lifts in the lower right border. Though backed on linen, no further restoration efforts have been made to the Polish poster. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Artwork for the Polish poster by Urbaniec. Very Fine+ on Linen and Rolled.
