    1980 Moscow Summer Olympics Lot (1978/1979). Rolled, Overall: Very Fine-. Russian Posters (2) (25.75" X 38.5" & 26.25" X 40.5"). Sports.
    Offered are two brightly colored Russian posters, created in anticipation of Moscow's upcoming 1980 Summer Olympic Games. One features the iconic flames associated with the Olympic torch by artist L. Tarasova with the words "Sports Ambassador to the World," and the other boasts of Russia's athletic prowess with the words "USSR, Master of Sports" and an illustration by V. Potapov of such sports as track and field, football (a.k.a. soccer), wrestling, and even winter sports like skiing and hockey. Unrestored posters with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as some edge wear, mild creases, unobtrusive smudges, or very minor tears. The sports poster has some stains.
