DescriptionSpooks Run Wild (Monogram, 1941). Fine. Lobby Cards (6) (11" X 14").
The East Side Kids and Bela Lugosi face off in a haunted house for the first of two Monogram spooky comedies together. After sneaking out late at night, the boys seek aid in an old mansion owned by Lugosi. The Kids begin to suspect Lugosi is a "vulture" (another way of saying vampire), and it's up to them to take him down. General indications of use include slight edge wear, mild creases, pin and staple holes, as well as minor tears. Also visible is staining, some smudging, surface scuffing and scratches, small paper lifts, and dust shadows. Some of the cards have scattered spots of paint and one card has a smudge of black paint in the image. From the Theaters of Old Detroit Collection. Fine.
Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
