    Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (RKO, 1937). Studio Released Standees (8) (18" X 26" & 12" X 47").
Considered by many to be one of the greatest animated films of all time, Walt Disney's masterpiece took three years, the combined hard work of over 500 artists, and an investment of $1,500,000 by Disney. The result of which is a classic picture that not only saved the company financially by earning $8,500,000 depression-era dollars, but also paved the way for future classic animated features. Offered for the first time by Heritage, this magnificent set of theater used character standees include Snow White and each of the lovable dwarfs; Bashful, Sleepy, Happy, Sneezy, Dopey, Grumpy, and Doc. They show some surface wear, minor staining, creasing, edge wear, nicks, light wrinkling, and scratches. Snow White has a bend through her face, a nick in the right shoulder, and edge wear with surface loss in the left shoulder. Doc's left hand has been reattached, and Sleepy has some water damage and foxing. Wood has been added to the verso of each to help reinforce the easels. Despite issues, each of these charming standees showcase vibrant eye-catching color, and display absolutely beautifully. Fine+.
