DescriptionSleeping Beauty (Buena Vista, 1959). Very Fine+. Lobby Card Set of 9 (11" X 14") with Original Studio Envelope.
As the last Walt Disney animated film to use hand-inked cels and the one with the longest production schedule (seven years), Sleeping Beauty ended up being the second-highest grossing film of 1959, after Ben-Hur. This was the last fairy tale to come out of Disney Studios for thirty years, until The Little Mermaid (1989). Signs of handling include minor corner bumps, soft surface scuffs, and one card has a small tear in the top left corner. The title card has a few very faint stains, as well as technical information that has been blocked out by the studio underneath the title. The card with the tear also has the detached flap of the studio envelope adhered to the verso. Very Fine+.
Estimate: $300 - $600.
