Sleeping Beauty (Buena Vista, 1959). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A.
Walt Disney created a true classic with this feature-length fantasy, a brilliant combination of Charles Perrault's famed fairytale, music from Tchaikovsky's gorgeous Sleeping Beauty ballet, and beautiful animation with cels inked by hand. Though it was the last of Disney's hand-inked movies, the picture marked the studio's first feature in 70mmm film, ushering in a new era of animation at Disney. A beautiful image with all of the film's fairytale elements on full display, signs of use found on this one sheet include some fold wear and separation, soft horizontal creases, pinholes, and an extra horizontal fold at the bottom. There are pieces of cellophane and archival tape on the verso.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
