CinemaScope Stock (20th Century Fox, 1955). One Sheet (27" X 41"). When television came into wide use in the early 1950s, Hollywood soon discovered that they needed to fight back to get patrons back in the seats. CinemaScope is widely credited with bringing those audiences back to theaters. This folded one sheet is a prime example of early CinemaScope marketing. It has a little bit of toning around the edges and pinholes in the top two corners, but the color is still fresh. This is a great artifact from the early days of a crucial cinematic innovation. Very Fine+.
