DescriptionThe Seducers by Jack Thurston (Cinemation Industries, 1970). Original Movie Artwork (30" X 19").
Originally known as Top Sensation, this Italian produced euro-adult drama (European version of the exploitation film) was the brain child of Italian director/writer Ottavio Alessi, the writer of two Emanuelle films. These sub-niche genre films are famously known for their exploits of current trends at the time and attracting cult followings, with the rare opportunities to become historically important (i.e. zombie films like Night of the Living Dead). This amazing and colorful work for the US release of the film under the name, The Seducers is surprisingly without its original color on the printed one sheets, with the distributor opting for an all yellow printed poster with red and black lettering. In its original format, this wonderful Jack Thurston painting, would be a treasure to own. Thurston was the artist responsible for the poster art of One Million Years B.C., Flight of the Phoenix, Battle of the Bulge and many more. Whether you enjoy exploitation or not, this piece would be a great addition to anyone's collection. The artwork is stunning with only very minor blemishes and unobtrusive stains in the background away from the image. Very Fine/Near Mint.
Estimate: $7,000 - $14,000.
