Description

Valley of the Cliffhangers (Jack Mathis, 1975). Book (448 Pages, 12.5" X 18"). This wonderful book by Jack Mathis looks at each and every serial ever filmed by Republic Studios, from the first, "Darkest Africa," through "Zorro's Fighting Legion," "Perils of Nyoka" and "Zombies of the Stratosphere," to the last one shot, "King of the Carnival." The book's printing was limited to 1000 copies as these were very expensive books to produce in this full-color, oversized volume. This coffee table book has only a few small scuffs on the back cover, and the slightest bit of wrinkling on some of the inside pages. A delight, with cast lists, plot outlines, in-depth research concerning each Republic serial and many pictures. Near Mint+.
